Summary

  • Add portable standards/prefer-api.md (prefer API/CLI/connector over browser UI; surface disabled self-hosted APIs; credentials outside git; browser OK for setup/CAPTCHA/no-API).
  • Index row in standards/README.md.
  • Cite under How Bot loads in configs/grok-bot/operations.md.

Box-only: also updated /home/box/agent-data/workflows/consult-shared-agents-repo/SKILL.md (not in this repo).

Test plan

  • No valleygeek URLs in prefer-api.md body
  • Citations wired in README + operations
